Our school respectfully acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral, traditional and unceded Indigenous territory of the Algonquin Peoples,
on whose territory we pray, learn, play and work.

Spiritual Theme

The Board’s Spiritual Theme for 2019-20 is “Seek Justice. Love Kindness & Mercy. Walk Humbly with God”.

The three-year theme represents a natural progression for the Board, as it provides a way for our staff, students and community to dig deeper in the Gospel to make real and meaningful connections. This theme is inspired by Micah 6:8

Micah 6:8 is one of the most popular lines in scripture. In the Old Testament, Micah is a prophet calling the people of his day to honour their relationship with God. This quote from Micah contains the whole Christian calling; to seek justice, show mercy to others and walk humbly with God. Jesus models this for us.

In this second year of this new spiritual theme, the focus will be Love Kindness & Mercy. Catholic Social Teachings are a guide for Love Kindness & Mercy.
