Join the School Council

The School Council is comprised of the school Principal, and members representing:

Want to become more involved in your children's school? Why not attend the School Council meetings? During these meetings, upcoming fundraising efforts are discussed, as well as other School Council initiatives. As our Principal and Teacher representative also attend these meetings, attending School Council Meetings provides insight into additional initiatives taking place at the school.

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month in the Learning Commons starting at 6:30. You do not have to be a voting member to have a voice or to see what's happening, so please join us - we value your input.

Welcome to our new and returning Council members for 2023-2024!

Pizza Days will be on Tuesdays starting September 19th - sign up and payment will begin August 22nd and close September 15th for Term 1 and will open for sales for Term 2 on January 8th, 2024

Milk Program runs everyday starting September 19 - sign up and payment will begin August 22nd and close September 15th for Term 1 and will open for sales for Term 2 on January 8th, 2024

Pita Pit will be on Thursdays starting September 21st - sign up and payment will begin August 22nd and close September 15th for Term 1.

Pies from The Baker will be on Thursdays starting February1st - sign up and payment for Term 2 will begin January 8th, 2024

If Pizza Day or Pita  or Pie day  fall on a "Snow Day" it always moves to the next REGULAR school day.  

Always pack a lunch on a SNOW DAY

Note: Missed lunches cannot be kept for the next day nor will money be refunded.

Board-wide Parent Organizations

Catholic School Parents’ Association (CSPA) 

The Catholic School Parents’ Association (CSPA) is a volunteer group representing all Ottawa Catholic School Board parents. They are a resource for school councils and the parent community for information on local and provincial education issues. Through their website, Twitter feed, and email newsletters, they we provide updates on education in Ottawa & Ontario, as well as tips, resources and information to help parents support their children in school. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join CSPA's e-mail list, follow CSPA on Twitter, or attend CSPA monthly meetings. 

Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)

The OCSB’s Special Education and Advisory Committee (SEAC) makes recommendations to the Board in respect of any matter affecting the establishment, development, and delivery of special education programs and services for exceptional pupils.

OCSB Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) 

The Ottawa Catholic School Board Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is a provincially mandated committee made up of parents, a trustee, a principal and the Director of Education. The purpose of PIC is to support, encourage and enhance parent engagement at the school board level in order to improve student achievement and well-being. The parent members of the OCSB PIC are appointed by CSPA.
